I found this little gem this afternoon.
I
am really curious though about how in the world someone came up with
this. Like milking a cow... the first person who did that... what in the
world were they thinking?!
Anyways... I found it here.
This is how it works...
Directions:
Have your child draw a picture with glue.
Have your child draw a picture with glue.
Then sprinkle the glue with salt. We did this on top of a piece of cardboard, but a baking sheet will work well too.
Next have your child take a paintbrush or a medicine dropper and drop colored water, one drop at a time onto the salt.
This was fun, and the other blogger mentioned that it is only for fun. It won't last as it doesn't actually stick to the page. A good time was had by all, (well, Amara couldn't have cared less) and we will be doing this one again.
That's all for now.

It took her a minute to learn that she couldn't "paint" with it. |

She seemed to think it was nifty. |

Mar got bored quickly. |

When you touch the color to the salt it spreads only on the salt. |

It wouldn't have been any fun at all if she didn't take some salt off the page and eat it. |
That's all for now.
